ASI - SPECIMEN PASS TURNTABLE - 10-0515
Specimen Turntable Pass Box shall receive objects up to 5-7/8" W x 10-7/16" H x 10" D (149mm x 265mm x 254mm) and shall rotate 360 degrees between catch stops in either direction. Fabricated of 18 gauge type 304 satin-finish stainless steel. All exposed surfaces shall have No 4 satin finish and be protected during shipment with a PVC film easily removable after installation.
- Turntable cylinder is 12" (305 mm) diameter with 10 1/2" x 6" (270 x 150 mm) opening. Stainless steel self-lubricating ball bearing plates mounted on top and bottom permit the unit to rotate freely. Positioned bullet catches prevent uncontrolled rotation. Entire inner assembly is encased in 1" (25 mm) wide trim.
- Cylinder lock allows for the removal of the cylinder for sterilizing or autoclaving when necessary. Trim is adjustable for wall up to 7" (180 mm) thick.
- Wall Opening: 13 1/4" x 14" (335 x 355 mm).
- Turntable shall be a fully enclosed compartment with only its 6" x 10-1/2" (152mm x 267mm) pass door open and shall be track mounted with ball bearing rotation mechanism at top and bottom.
- Turntable retaining door shall be hung on side with a 3/16" (5mm) dia. stainless steel multi-staked piano hinge and shall be held closed with a tumbler lock keyed alike to other ASI washroom equipment.
- Trim shall adjust for wall thickness of 3-3/8" (86mm) minimum to 7" (178mm) maximum and shall be of one-piece construction with no miters or welding 1" (25mm) wide and returning 1/4" (6mm) to finished wall.
- Specimen container is placed inside the turntable cylinder and is then manually rotated clockwise or counterclockwise 180 degrees to present the container to the rear opening. Access to the unit is gained by unlocking and opening the door.
