ASI - Shower Seat, Phenolic, Folding - 10-8203
ASI - FOLDING SEAT - 10-8203
Surface mounted shower seat is 5/16" (8 mm) thick, one piece, solid phenolic, ivory colored. Frame, support legs, flanges and bracket are 18-8 type 304 satin finished stainless steel. Features a self-locking mechanism. Seat measures 18" (460 mm) wide and projects 16" (405 mm) from wall.
- All exposed edges and corners shall be radiused and/or deburred.
- Seat shall be 5/16" (8mm) thick solid phenolic with ivory color top and bottom surfaces and shall have black edges.
- Seat has three slots for water drainage and slip resistance.
- Support arm shall fold up when in retracted position to provide low profile against wall. No extra fittings shall be required to retain seat in storage position.
- Unit shall satisfy ADA Accessibility Guidelines when mounted properly. Fabricated product shall be of adequate strength to support a load of 250 pounds. Mounting to the wall is a critical part of the system to meet this requirement.
- Unit will carry a load of 500 lbs if properly installed. The supporting wall must be adequately reinforced to carry the rated load for the product lifetime.
